PGG visit to New Inn Farm and Nant y Bedd, Abergavenny, South Wales.

New Inn Farm

In the morning we will visit the garden of Stephen Anderton, PGG member, garden journalist and former National Gardens Manager for English Heritage. He describes his garden as a modern cottage garden with sculptural hedges, shrubs, perennials and also a moss woodland.

Nant y Bedd

In the afternoon we visit Nant y Bedd, a 6½ acre garden set high in the Black Mountains. Owned by Sue and Ian Mabberly this garden has evolved over 38 years. It has the challenge of being at 1200ft and is also organically managed. It is a bit different from some of the meticulously well-manicured gardens we normally visit but will give you food for thought! More info can be found at www.nantybedd.com

Programme
