Members of the PGG visited Stone Lane Gardens, Chagford, in Devon on the 30th August 2013. Stone Lane has the national collection of Alder and Birch and we were treated to some stunning examples.

On the 28th June the PGG visited Penshurst Place and Gardens, a fine English country manor house and gardens, for a tour of the garden led by Head Gardener Cory Furness. Highlights of the visit included a chance to see the Jubilee Border which was officially opened in June 2012,
