PGG workshop at Burghley House
Workshop to take place in the grounds and gardens of Burghley house, hosted by the head Forester Pete Glassey. Pete will draw on some of his 35 years of experience managing Burghley’s diverse tree landscape to inform, educate and inspire in the subject of mature and ancient tree management in the landscape.
Programme
Meet in the visitor car park at Burghley house – PE9 3JY at 9am.
Bring a packed lunch tea and coffee on arrival included.

– Visual Tree Inspection and Identification of defects
– Understanding tree risk management, data collection and strategy.
– Successes and failures and lessons learnt in the ancient tree landscape of Burghley house park and gardens.
