The Professional Gardeners Guild Study Tour of South Wales.
Staying in a country house hotel near Usk and an old coaching inn in Carmarthenshire
Wales has a long history of garden making, just like its neighbour England, and many a Welsh garden, both now and in the past, has been made by someone English, in the same way that English gardens have been made in the south of France and Italy. This tour will visit a cross section of gardens ancient and modern in the south of Wales, to see Victorian plant collecting and rockwork, high formality from Medieval and Edwardian times to the twentieth century, planting by major contemporary designers and gifted amateurs, ambitious modern gardening with perennials, and Wales’ own National Botanic Garden.

Tour places allocated on a first-come first served basis.
Cost
Cost of the Study Tour is £490.00. Price includes all meals, based on shared twin rooms. Single room supplement is £56. Deposit of £100 required to book, balance due at the beginning of August 2019. You will be sent an email and payment information on the 1st August for your balance payment.
Members may wish to take out their own holiday/cancellation Insurance.
