Keen all round gardener required for private garden in Herefordshire.
FULL TIME GARDENING POSITION AVAILABLE
Gardener required to help continue the work of the owner nurtured garden over many years for a private property located near Hay-on-Wye, Herefordshire.
The role
To maintain the garden – grow vegetables and flowers, look after the greenhouse, maintain the herbaceous borders, prune, divide and mow. A wild valley stream garden adjacent to the garden to be attended to seasonally. Also a cottage garden to be restored and planted. The garden has been featured in several publications.
A full valid UK driving licence is essential. Preferably full time 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, but this could be flexible.
The package
Salary – £28,000 for a full-time position.
Self-contained three-bedroom accommodation may be available if required.
