The Cotswolds provide the backdrop for the Guilds Main Summer Meeting when we visit two spectacular gardens each with a very different style. This combined with a two course lunch at the picturesque Seven Tuns Inn at Chedworth makes for a very interesting and worthwhile meeting.

Stowell Park is the home of Lord and Lady Vestey. There has been a manor on the site dating back to Norman times, and the house was greatly increased in size during the Victorian era, when the magnificent terraces which overlook the Coln valley were put in. The terraces have been planted up in the last 30 years by Lady Vestey and Neil Hewertson to create a garden which has been covered by Country Life and other publications.
